Cristina Taioli had a teacher who has created for her a preferential path in order to put her in touch with the essence of the painting of Morandi and Picasso. Cristina Taioli is a young artist who finds her strength in extremely vast and heterogeneus cultural vivacity. Her stay in the US has tied her with a double Know to new artistic and human frontiers. Here is born the need to take a particolar path that began with realism and brought her to informality. In the informal climate the love for informal material has become in Cristina Taioli love for matter “ tout court “ while the tendency to outline the image has again become research on abstract chromatic rhythms under the dual sign of color: the sign that enters in triadic relation with object and interpreter and in so doing arriving at the semiotics described by Charles Peirce in the second half of the 19th Century. There is free composition of lines, forms and colors that run away from reality. We approach Wassilj Kandinskij’s abstractionism, to this years in Munich where he founded the “ Blue Rider “, an abstractionism wich preserves a fundamental expressionistic matrix whose mission is to set in motion internal emotions, all this utilizing the delicacy that colors have to trasmit sensations. Cristina Taioli feels totally free from rules and conventions and at the same time faithful to Walter Masotti’s approach: the field is overwhelmingly open to all new experimentation. The directions her art takes appear decidedly heterogeneous with premises and results profoundly diverse.
